Hi! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor and Art Therapist specializing in client-centered therapy for individuals, couples, families, and groups, ages 6 and up. I integrate expressive art therapy techniques to provide unique avenues for self-expression and growth within a positive and supportive environment.
My Experience:
With experience in residential and outpatient settings, I offer therapy for individuals, families, and groups, integrating traditional and art therapy modalities. My focus includes working with clients aged 6 and up, specializing in attachment, trauma, anxiety, and depression.
Professional Qualifications:
As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and highly experienced Art Therapist (MA, ATR) with over 20 years of post-master's experience, and over 28 years immersed in the healing arts, I offer a unique therapeutic approach. My training from Gonzaga University (BA, Psychology and Art) and Marylhurst University (MA, Art Therapy and Counseling) equips me to effectively integrate expressive art therapy techniques with traditional therapy modalities in individual, family, and group settings. I work with clients aged 6 and up, specializing in attachment, trauma (sexual and physical), anxiety, depression, and ADHD. I am a dedicated LGBTQIA+ ally, and my practice is deeply rooted in trauma-informed care, with a focus on attachment-related trauma and parenting skills and support. My experience spans residential and outpatient care for at-risk adolescents and families. I'm committed to ongoing professional development, including studies in interpersonal neurobiology and the Enneagram, and I prioritize regular clinical supervision. I advocate for children, adults, and families, creating a client-centered, strengths-based environment for healing and growth.
